How billing works
The plain version. The full detail is in our terms of service.
- How do I pay?
- By card, on Paystack's secure checkout. Your card details never reach Underwing. Larger organisations can pay by EFT against an invoice instead.
- Can I cancel?
- Monthly plans cancel any time in your account. Your team keeps access to the end of the month you've paid for. Yearly plans can have renewal turned off at any time.
- What if my team grows?
- Moving up a band takes effect straight away; we charge the difference for the rest of the period. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal.
- Who counts as a person?
- Anyone enrolled at the same time. Remove someone who leaves and their place is free for the next person.
- What if a payment fails?
- We'll email you a link to update your card. Your team keeps access for 7 days while you sort it out.
- Is VAT included?
- Underwing isn't VAT-registered yet, so there's no VAT to add. If that changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.
- Will your banking details change?
- Never by email. If a message says our banking details have changed, don't pay: it isn't from us. Forward it to security@underwing.co.za.
- Do you refund?
- We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it. If something isn't right, write to hello@underwing.co.za and a person will sort it out.
